I feal better after listening to the Cowsills hits. Listening to Bobby Brock WFAA 820 Dallas in 1968 coming out of news at 8:05am and into Indian Lake or We Can Fly. In Pecos Texas KIUN radio constantly played Hair. All of these are Great Power Tunes. Thank you Leslie Wayne Hodges
i miss all of you..please send me fan club info debbie bushard 15 grant st, waltham mass 02453..singing prayers
What a wonderful find...the Cowsills were a big part of my adolescence. I'm saddened that the reason I rediscovered them is due to the news that Barry is missing. He kept my heart a-flutter during my teenybopper years. My prayers and good wishes to the family that they find him safe and sound. I can certainly relate to the ups and downs he has had...I never thought that I would suffer from depression, I have always been one of those "lemonade" types...but it has been a battle for the past 10 years...my heart goes out to him and his family.
indian lake was one of the best songs and it is still played here in wisconsin
I would like to be able to buy old photos of the Cowsills and I'd like to see a new CD come out!!

I am 47 so I`m a big fan of the Cowsills and I love your web site
Excellent Site! I remember them as a kid. I love the flower song, it takes me back to a time when everything seemed wonderful. Also We Can Fly is another good track. Keep up your great work!
Cool beans.
It was back in 1969 me and my buddy Billy Nafash (RIP) were in my basement in Brooklyn, N.Y. with an AM Radio and the song The Flower Girl song came on. (I just found out via this web site the real name). I swear that song stayed in our head for days. Little did I know on the other side of Brooklyn my future father in law ;packed up his daugthers and drove to Rhode Island. Because his daugthers had a crush on them. Well they found them and they sat out on the front lawn and sang together. We still have the pictures. Well now my kids are singing the songs. We play the CD in the mini van and later we will be in the Mall and everyone is still singing the tunes. PEACE
Love the web site! I had no idea there were so many fervent Cowsills fans. I had a blast at The El Rey. It couldn't have been any better. The vocals were absolutely amazing. Thanks to Sue for a great interview. I love her vibe. And thanks to Fritz for putting me in touch. Ray Hamilton Afternoon Drive 106.3 KKSB Santa Barbara
wait -that was the late '70's, I believe...and we (the Shamus Twins) Played Intl. Pop Overthrow this year...The Cowsills would be a great addition to the fest!
I saw the Cowsills in the '80's, at, I think, Club 88. I told everybody I could about them! Stonesy rythms, great songwriting, and a version of "Be My Baby" that floored me.
Our good friend, Cowsills producer and Co-Creator of Woodstock 1969 Artie Kornfeld is inviting everyone to come visit his new Website http://www.artiekornfeld-woodstock.com/ Not only is it a great site but Artie really needs the hits to get the website to be top in the search engines. Sooooo. please go to the website as many times as possible. Send the link to a friend and ask them to visit Artie. While you are at it, Artie asks you to consider picking up his new nook. He had the price knocked down and tells me that he makes nothing on the first 10,000 copies sold. As a special gift to you, if you return Fed-Ex to Artie (you can get the address through emailing me), he'll autograph and pen a personalized thanks to you for your support and love of what was Woodstock 1969. So, check it out. Plus, if all goes well, he'll se everyone at the reunion in August. Thanks, Brad Please note: I'm putting this message up as a friend and I have no vested interest in the book.
Your music brings back such fond memories of growing up. This is a wonderful site, it was such a different time back then eh? Take care
Longtime fan(and aging baby boomer), glad to have found the site.
Saw u guys play the new york state fair in syracuse in the early 70's u guys and gals kicked ass i never forgot it so many people there to see you i couldnt see u on stage i was way back u sounded awesome!!!! thanks 30 yrs later and i still remember jay muise
The other night I was invited to see the Beach Boys play at the outdoor amphitheater Ravinia in the Chicago area. I was unaware (or spaced it off) that John Cowsill was part of the touring band. Needless to say, I was absolutely thrilled to see his name in the program, even thought my younger friends had no idea who he or the Cowsills, were. John was fantastic! I cannot believe how great his voice is, plus the many instruments he played throughout the show. He had a great stage presence that picked up the show, and it was obvious that Mike Love thinks very highly of him. The Beach Boys did covers of various 50's and 60's songs, and I think it would be great if they did a cover of "The Rain, The Park, and Other Things," which I still have as a 45 (also a great phonopgraph to play it on). John is still as cute as I remember him when I had the hots for him back in the fifth grade. What a treat! I have friends in L.A. who are acquainted with various Cowsill family members who have nothing but high praise for their talent, not to mention how cool they are as people.
Cool site! Check us out also, at Artistopia.com, the ultimate music artist development network and community on the Web. Formalize your approach to the music industry and drastically increase your chances of getting the right record deal!
I Heard "The Rain,The Park And Other Things" The Other Day And It Still Sounded As Good As It Did In The 60's. Some Songs Are Timeless And This Is One Of Mine. Thanks For Making Me Feel That Feeling Again!
It just seems like yesterday I first heard the Cowsills, and now I'm a grandmother, and still listening to your music, especially when I'm baking. I'm a pastry chef. It was great seeing that one of the Cowsill offspring is into baseball. I'm hoping at least one of my grandsons will follow suit, but if not, that's ok. Thanks so much for the memories, the music, but most of all, remaining together. With all my fondest Aloha, be safe, love, and Mahalo. Paula P.
susan, iwas so in love w/u !!! i wrote to u on several occaisons, but can't remember if i mailed them! john, u inspired me to switch to drums from bass!! I thought if he can do it so can I!!!(just not as good as u do!)
Hi! I desperately need to get Susan's 70's recording of Rodriguez' "I Think Of You" (w/ sax..If I'm right)....I need to hear this again. It's been 20+ years. Thanks so much for any help.
Just saw Cowsills on VH1. I thought I was the only one who remembered them and wondered what became of them. They helped me thru the 60's growing up.
thanks for turning me on to Global, it makes me feel good to listen to this cd!
A client recently gave me a copy of his july 4th weekend radio show and The Rain The Park and Other Things was absolutely the best song on the 4 cds. I loved the Cowsills while in grade school, especially Barry. I did not see his name on Global - does he not play/sing any longer. Have a great birthday in September (if I remembered correctly) I had all the albums, posters, even had Barry's name spelled out with popsicle sticks. You guys bring back great memories and feelings. Thanks!!!
Just wanted to say Hi. I did a search for my name and came up with your company. How bizarre! - Robin
A great source of unsigned power pop bands (if you're interested in more bands, of course) is International Pop Overthrow, who put on a series of club dates every summer in Los Angeles. They also have programs in New York and London. In any event, keep up the good work... I loves me the power pop
Long time fan. Recently bought the 20 th Century Masters- Millenium Collection C.D. on Polydor Records. Glad I did! Best wishes to all/ Al
Bob, Thanks for a great night at the Pub on my birthday. Thank you for the great music, for being so kind to my family, for singing "Puff" to my nephew and thanks for letting me sing with you. That's a memory that will linger. Oh, and this is a wonderful web site. For those of you who haven't ordered Global, it rules. Be nice to yourself and order it now.
I have only heard about THE COWSILLS, from my friends. But I still play their music, when I am down in the blues or when I need a lift in my life! I thank THE COWSILLS for great music, but I also realized just recently just how special and important they have been to the music industry in so many ways! May you continue in all that you are doing, and if you are ever in the area which I live. You can bet your butt, that I will be there when you perform a concert...I know talent as well good stuff when I see it...GOD BLESS YOU ALL! **Please contact me,as we have a special friend who loves you still so very much after so many years of a great friendship!
Having had the great pleasure, of finally getting to meet THE COWSILLS many years ago at Maxwell's in Hoboken, New Jersey. I learned what good fun was all about, they have continued to never change with the times. I am so very proud to call them true friends, and to say in all honestly that they continue to entertain and be totally true entertaining in so many directions! Thank you for some great memories, as well your friendship and love over the years. Let us continue to entertain, and bring happiness to those in need whenever they might be down in their spirits! I still remember the day I saw the Cowsills on The Ed Sullivan TV Show.I was about 11 years old back then. The Rain,The Park,And Other Things was my song.I still enjoy this music very much. Please keep up the Good Work that you are doing. Thanks Very Much and Take Care, From,Tom Coss,Meriden,Connecticut Former DJ - Announcer at WMMW 1470 AM Radio And Still A Cowsills Fan After ALL These Years.
I really enjoyed days of the Cowsils. These days I spend a lot of time scuba diving in New Port RI. When we are driving through New Port I always say This is where the Cowsils are from. A lot of the younger divers will say who the censored are the Cowsills. But us older divers all know. Jimmy,
One of the best memories of my teen years was each time I heard Indian Lake or Hair on the radio. Hey Cowsills, thanks for making a difficult period of my life easier, and its really great to see you are continuing the music after all these years! Best of Luck! Jack
I'm 47 years old and still enjoy the Cowsills music as much as the day they came to our elementary school and gave us a concert as a part of the American Dairy Association campaign in the late Sixties
Nice website! Enjoyed all the old milk ads.
Hi Guys, Celine and I saw you at the Newport Food Festival in 2000. We absolutely loved this concert, and you were in your best form. Can you know how happy were to see and hear you. Would love to see you all again. Thanks for the global CD. Thanks for everything. Love and best wishes, Danny and Celine
Great site, nice to know they are remembered. May try Global at a future time....
I have so many great memories of the Cowsills' music from childhood and it's great to know they're still making music today. Indian Lake was such a presence on my flip-top record player back in my youth...sigh.
Years ago I passed off The Cowsills as silly bubblegum music. I was a musician and into Hendrix, Cream, Jefferson Airplane and all of the underground psychedelic bands. Through the years I aquired several Cowsills LPs from bargan bins or some were given to me. I figured Maybe later I would try to sell them. I put them away and never played them. 25 or 30 years later I was going through records I could throw out when I came across my Cowsills LPs. I kind of chuckled when I saw them and figured they could go. Then I decided that before I throw them out maybe I should listen to some of them. I made sure that none of my friends were around to see me listening to Cowsills records. I've grown as a musician and have a better understanding of music now and I now appreciate nearly every style of music if I feel it's done well. I was suprised as I listened. The music, even though it was in the bubblegum mode, was catchy and well constructed. The arrangers did a good job. The vocals really impressed me. The harmonies were excellent. I found it interesting that, years later, here I am digging these Cowsills LPs. I've grown to appreciate the Cowsills contribution to music history. The LPs didn't get thrown out. They get listened to. I also was suprised to find out that Susan Cowsill is singing on my Continental Drifters CD. They're a great band and it's a very good CD. Now I find this web site and I see that The Cowsills still perform. It's now July, 2003 and I'm wondering if The Cowsills can come to New York City to perform. Each year they have a show called Cave Stomp, where they get old bands from the 60's to play. It would be great to see the Cowsills there. Anyway now I'm a fan. I guess better late than never.
WAS SO HAPPY TO FIND THIS WEB SITE. I LOVE THE COWSILLS FROM WAY BACK WHEN AND HAPPY TO HEAR THAT THEY ARE GOING STRONG.
OMG!!! I love this site...I am a verry big fan of the Cowsill's.. I loved them back in the 60's and 70's and I love them even more now.....Keep up the great job.... Aloha Rosemarie
I'm an old fan from many years ago.
I just loved your music as a kid and I still love it today. I am 46 years old and I remember watching you on t.v in the 1960's. Last nite I saw you on a VH1 special. I can't tell you how much it mean't to me to hear you again.
I just recently rediscovered the Cowsills. Until I got "Global" last week I hadn't bought a record since "On My Side." I am so psyched! The songs are great and your harmonies wonderful. I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to start following you all around like a DeadHead! Love, Chris
It's so great to hear you all again. I especially love Susan's voice. Last time I heard her she was a little girl - what a great voice. I love all the songs and will take it to Maui with me when I go on vacation! sarah
nice site
Always a fan, and recommended by 'Wildcat', registered with a site involving songwriting. Enjoyed the info, and will order 'Global' soon. Thanks!
Hi from Spain! Diseño web
I was a big Cowsills fan in the late 60's and early 70's, and have been a closet fan since then. I have a very sad story about when they played in my small home town in Iowa, and I couldn't go. I was heartbroken that I was never going to meet John. Anyway... I just found this website, and am amazed! This is a great site. But now I'm bummed again. I saw the Beach Boys here in St. Louis in July 2001, and now I find out that John was probably with them, and I didn't know it. Missed my chance again............ John, you're still lookin' and soundin' goooood!
It's so great to see photos of the Cowsills. I can't wait to hear their CD.
Hello, I grew up in Providence, Rhode Island and summered in Newport (3rd Beach/Mrs. Peabody's). The Cowsill Family was a Rhode Island Tradition. I can remember going to see you guys at "The Viking Hotel" in Newport back in 1967 or 68. I was just a little girl. I made my parents take me out of camp to go see you. I even remember what I wore. A purple outfit, short shorts and a short sleeve matching top. I sat in the front row with my parents. John came up to me after the show and told me how nice I looked. It is such a great childhood memory. Coincidentally, I now live in Canton, MA. and who lives directly across the street from us...the original owner of the Viking Hotel. Dr. Cohen's (who is now deceased), his son Dr. Erci Cohen and his family. It is such a small world. I don't know how much I am allowed to write but I have to say a big hello to BARRY COWSILL. Barry and I had many mutual friends during the years that I was living in Los Angeles, California. Jodi who worked with the "Hollywood All Star Softball Team." Remember? Then a few years after I left L.A. I bumped into Barry in Newport. I gave him my parents phone number in Providence. He called and left my mom an (800) number. Never heard back from him. I hope that he's o.k. In closing, back when I was 12 I had bone marrow cancer. I had a roomamte at the Miriam Hospital in Providence....Marie Sullivan from Newport. She went to school with Susan and lived just doors down from you guys in Newport. I kept in touch with her for years. Do you remember her? She was an epileptic. O.K. I will sign off here. God bless you guys. You were so wonderful.I plan to come to that show in Newport in September. Can't wait. Life is funny isn't it. Most people don't realize that your life can turn on a dime........but ask the children, they'll tell you it's alright, the world's outta sight. See you in September with my nine year old daughter JERI. E me back if you want. AMY
Just a hello, I hope to get to New Orleans soon to hear Susan

Hello, I found you at Altavista. You have wealth of information on your site and a nice design. Greetings from Germany - Paul
Thanks for the good information. Keep up this great resource. Best greetings, Lars
Nice website, quite intresting! Don't forget it to add it on Radio Web World (www.radioweb.org/word).
I liked a lot of your stuff growing up in the 60's. I listened to the snippets from Global. What a power rocking piece of work. No sappy slow stuff, just good driving rock and roll. How come it's not available in the stores? One other question. Didn't Suzie have a single out around the mid 70's? I recall hearing a Harrisburg station play it just once. I can't recall the title but I believe it was a remake of something from the 40's or 50's. Anyhow, it was quite nice and I recall Suzie sounding pretty good. Anyhow, keep on rocking dudes.
great site - greetings from austria !
Been a fan since the 60's, seen you live in 1992 in Hoboken. Have released singles and albums with my own groups since 1979. I'm a public school teacher in N.J. with a Masters in Special Education. Working on a solo album in my own studio, looking for a label. Very Comercial. joey
Just surfing. A wise man will always change his mind . . a fool never will
It was so great to see John's photos. He was my teenage heartthrob. That stuff never dies. John you are still hot!!
I was too young to know who the Cowsills were or what they looked like. But when reflecting back to the 'happy' times of my chilhood I cannot help but to smile when I remember hearing a song being sung by a group unknown to me then - 'happy','happy','happy'. Now much later in life have I come to find out who sang all those fun songs. Although not born in the same year I believe I do share a birthday (9th January). Keep singing for as long as you can. John
Very nice website. Please visit URGENT my website!!! Webmaestro :)
I am a new store owner, and I had previously operated a mailing service, and a medical billing service. I am presently an undergraduate, and hope to be graduated soon.
It is so good to see the Cowsills again! They used to be wallpapering my walls when I was younger (same age as Barry). Keep up the good work!
hi to all music-lovers around the world from austria - please feel free to visit www.race.at our austrian music-site and leave us a note...
Great website. The pictures are priceless, would be nice to be able to see them full size. Robin records rocks! I speak for fans all over the world who are so thankful that the Cowsill family is still making music
Global is AWSOME!!!! Waiting for Global II. Coming out soon I hope.
great!
Please update your records, I am the Program Director of KATW, Lewiston and our fax # is 208-798-0110. Thanks!
I just want to thank you for the wonderful memories your voices bring to me. I recently acquired a Greatest Hits CD. As soon as "the rain in the park" started, I almost cried. It took me to Disneyland 1968 when I saw you with my family. (on that cool stage that would come up from the floor) Then my mother always would play your album when I got older. Now that I'm pushing 40, I play "Hair" and my kids just love it!! Thank you so much, I LOVE YOU GUYS!!! Kathy Kleine
ABOUT 30 YEARS AGO, I LIKE THIS GROUP VERY MUCH.
I started with this group way back in the 60's. Had their pics all over my wall and ceiling. Went to their concert in Levelland,Tx. at the community college. Front row center! I still have photos. Never thought I would stumble onto them ever again.Good clean music. Still good looking too. Glad to see they are still together!
"Global" is one of the best power-pop CD's I've bought in a long time. I rank it up there with any Raspberries/Spongetones/Shoes faves of mine. Why the censored doesn't radio play this stuff?
Hi I been a fan of yours every since you came to the new york state fair back in 1968 or 1969. I herad that you had a now cd out and I can't find it nowhere.I can't find Know songs on the internet I have all your old songs. If you have time write back!!!!
BILLY...we were friends back in 1969..and shared a place in Hollywood together. I have often wondered what happened to you. Was thrilled to find this site, and would love an email from you...please !!!! an old friend, Kathy
Been trying to find the Cowsills hits for ages. I really enjoyed looking at the site.
I am glad to see you have this great web sight. Love your music from the 60's. Come to Cincinnati sometime.
What a great site you guys have! It is so nice to travel back in time to remember the way you guys were. It would also be nice if more personal appearances were made by the Cowsill group (at least, some of the old members). That is the problem with getting older - each member of the family pursues their own interests and the group disperses. What did happen back in or about 1970 when the group disbanded? It seemed that the group had made such a success and was on the verge of yet another brakthrough in terms of popularity and recognition. This was about the time the "Partridge Family" was on the air.
I love your music and website.Thank you for having this. Do you have a new CD if so where can I find it? I grew up with your music and to this day I still play it. Love ya all.Patricia
Hi Guys! Now we are all adults but it's so nice to have so memories of all of you as we were younger and you goys lived on La Mesa, here in Santa monica, where I still am! I loved going on your trampoline, listening to you guys practice and last but not least horsback riding with Barry and John. I would be really great if you all ( as a family again) get together for a few concerts! John, I'm glad you're havig a good time with the Beach Boys, I didn't want to tell you when I last saw you at the St. Francis De sales featival, but the Beach Boys have been close friends of mine since 1976. My dearest friend was Carl, God rest his soul, the heart and voice of an angel. Take care one and all, hope to see all of you soon. Love, Cyn
I hope someone will pass this on to Mary Jo Cowsill from a old friend from Glendale Memorial Hospital. Would like to say hello. Am in contact with Susan(Houck)Princell and Karen, Ellie, and Jean. We just had a mini reunion and you were missed. Would love to have to attend the next one?
Wow! This site looks great. One thing for sure i love about the internet is that it allows us to find out about the groups that had an impact on us growing up. It also allows me to find the lyrics of your songs to FINALLY understand the songs my severe hearing loss made hard to fully appreciate. And you're still making music? Great!!!! Come to Toronto someday!
Great site! Cowsills are the best! :-)
Hey i really love the Cowsills i am only 34 but i got to learn about our in school and from my sisters old friends i had really like our songs since i had first heard them and i even have a big record and a small record of our i did not get a chance to listen to any of our new songs but i am going to and also have a tape i almost forgot about that our sing great and really had enjoyed being on here bye
I have always loved your music and I am so pleased to see new things happening with the band again. By the way, I wonder if you remember the Heeter's (Phil, Mary, Stormy, Ruthie)? They used to live next door to the Cowsills and played together. Ruthie became my wife ("Love, American Style"...haha!). Will continue to listen forever! Thanks for all the memories!
I absolutely love the Cowsill site.It really brought me back to the age of 8-13-14,then it was time for me to give up my crush on barry and garnish the available boys. The Cowsills were such a big part of my childhood.Ibought every album with my birthday & babysitting money, bought all the magazines and even have a huge scrapbook of anything cowsill, even school papers i wrote.Gee,it sure was comforting to be wrapped up in a fantasy world,my obsession. Now i'm old, beaten and tattered, but still get excited to see this stuff because it brings me back. Thanks for the feel good!.....poochkepoo@aol.com
I was member of The Cowsills fan club back in the late 1960's early 70's. I always wondered what happened to them. This is a nice site. I heard the Cowsills talk about this one Sunday morning on my radio station. I finally got around to checking it out. Susan was always my favorite and I had a poster of her on my wall when I was a teenager. I still have my Cowsills records. Keep up the Good Work! Martha

Would like to see the poster sponsered in recent mag w/ new milk mustash pic with it. Interesting web-site. Was referred to it by my Cowsill fan buddy of my teens. Will check in again. Thanks.
The Cowsills were and still are my favorite musical group.I saw them in person in Cohasset, Massachusetts way back in 1972, I think!! John was my teenage hearthrob. I will be spreading the word to all my old friends that The Cowsills are back!! I will soon be ordering there new CD Global.

Keep up the good music cousins!!
Hi Bob and Cowsills. Your global CD is excellent. We play it during surgery at the animal hospital, and it has become quite a favorite. My 39 year old Dead Head technician now sings along with the tracks [and enjoys every minute]. the harmonies are smooth and the instrumentation is solid. I have been playing guitar since 1960, and i salute your craftsmanship!!!!! chris bukata VMD
Great Website Guys! Nice to see that you're all still making music. Those Cowsill harmonies never sounded better! Hope you gig somewhere close in Ohio soon!
I loved the Cowsills back in the 60's, and reading the guest book, I see that they are still recording! Gee I didn't know. Always had a big crush on Bob. But had one on Mr Spock too shortly after... (Consider that a compliment, Bob) Reading the comments got me looking back at my own love of the Cowsills music back then... I saw the 'sills in Port Arthur for two shows in the same day. Don't remember what year. My best friend was obsessed with Barry, and threw a tantrum to get her dad to drive us to Port Arthur, Texas from Houston for the show. We arrived two hours before show time and just barely got two tickets in the back row. We couldn't believe how sedate the crowd in Port Arthur was during both shows. They all just sat quietly in their seats. What was wrong with those people? WE WERE THE ONLT TWO SCREAMING GIRLS IN THE AUDIENCE!!! Very straight-laced crowd, I guess. People kept turning around and looking at us like we were ruining the show. Mind you, we didn't scream throughout the show, just at the right moments! The guys on stage just smiled, seemingly in appreciation. Maybe in amusement! They probably knew exactly who it was. After all, we had gently accosted all in the family right after we arrived in Port Arthur for autographs, mostly outside their trailer behind the hall, then a few onstage as they set up. After getting autographs for all, we were gently both taken by the elbows and guided with kindness from the stage by Bob. He used just the right degree of firmness and friendliness to get us off the stage so the group could set up undisturbed, without appearing rude. Thanks, Bob! Does anyone know what year the Port Arthur Concert was? Thanks! Patty

The Cowsills were a huge inspiration for me in the 60's. Susie, in particular, I just idolized. I grew to become a professional singer with many different styles. My musical tastes have varied through the years. But the music, values and spirit of The Cowsills has remained within my heart. Seeing you perform live was one of the high points of my life. Love and light to each of you.
BEST WISHES TO ALL FOR A HAPPY NEW YEAR!
cowsills, n sync & hanson ROCK!!
Would like to establish link, as we a site devoted to history of Tulsa music, such as Bill, as well as new music such as the Hanson's.
i am so happy i found this site! the cowsills hold a special place in my heart with all those other wonderful memories. i am so happy to see they are still recording. i lost all my old cowsill records in a fire and was wondering if they still sell the older songs. it's so good to find this site!
I was so excited to know there was a web site for Cowsills. I just tried to put in their name for the heck of it and WOW! I FOUND THEM to my surprise!! Now I can still find info on my favorite group of a child back in the 60's and of course now! I still have all of their albums & 45's and all the mags and clips of them! I haven't been able to play the records since my stereo broke down. I'm 44 now and have 3 children. And I have shared the music with them. I was in their fan club back then and will gladly join! A friend who is some years older than me used to work for their fan club back in the 60's. Wow I wish I knew her then maybe I would of had a chance to meet them. I never had the chance to go to a concert but always watched them on tv. I recorded them on GMA in the early 90's and was so excited then, this was like wining the lottery!! I'm so happy to have this! I feel like a kid again!! such a happy feeling for me!! Count on me being a fan now and forever!!!!!!!!!!!!I still hope to all of you in person. It would my dream come true. Oh yes I had all of Susan's hair styles and sometimes still. I love all of you and still a crush on John who I thought I'd marry someday!! Oh well just thought I'd exspress my feeling of happiness!!Hope to hear from any of you!!Or to hear from any fans!! WOW WOW !!!!!!!!!!

I have been a fan for about as long as I can remember. I am Susan's age and thanks to having a cousin who was the drummer for the Grass Roots got into rock music in a very big way early. I must say Global took me by surprise. I was expecting a 60's thing and instead found some terrific current music. I truly hope they do produce a Global II. If the songs, vocals, and instrumentals are even half as good as the last effort, it will be another great record. Go guys...I hope to see you play sometime soon.
Hello!!! You like powerpop,we make powerpop!!! I´ll be sending you a demo soon!!! Have fun!!! Best.Eke/Zoodrive
At last I have found you! I've been telling this story for years, and can now finally tell you.I first heard "The Rain, the Park, and Other things" on the radio as a teenager in North Carolina at 13. My dad laughed and told me that when I meet "that girl" I'll know it, 'cause she'll be something special. In 1983, I was on a blind date, with 2 other couples(I was an Officer in the Army)and that song played. My friend's date looked at me and said," I've loved that song since I was a kid".We were married a year later. That was 16 years ago, and I still pull my original "45" out and play it now and then.I would pay anything for a signed album cover to give her for our anniversary this year.If you guys can answer this, I will send you my address, and any cost there may be. Global is making a whole new set of memories for my two "flower girls".Tell me where I can get my own copy, as I finally gave my borrowed one back. Thanks for recording a stroke of genius, Fred Jenkins,CEO, The Patuxent Group of Companies
Great!!
Love every song on the tape.
Received GLOBAL last week -- enjoying it thoroughly! Great songs, vocals, arrangements -- and it convinced me to seek out the Continental Drifters (where Susan C. does a fantastic job of singing, writing, etc.) on Vermillion (go to continentaldrifters.com) Global's fantastic -- it's very satisfying to hear music that makes you feel good. Go Cowsills!!!!
Greatphotos! Web site design is nice--easy to use
Hi Guys Remember me Cousin Karen Muratore Would stay with you guys during the summmer in Newport Love the website Keep up the great work bye for now Cuz Karen

It's da bomb, man.
Keep up the great work. LOVED GLOBAL CD! Still a fan since 1968.
What am I stupid, Why was I spelling ROGER witha "D". Gosh I feel like a horse's petute. See you later guys!!
I am a little upset with you guys.... I still haven't heard any reports on that movie I have mentioned before. It is a great plot someone else is gonna jump on it. And it is time you guys change your names like I mentioned before. I can see it now, "And here they are.. Glen, Stevie and Rodger of the Cowsills." And when that movie starts shooting, I want to be invited to the set to make any changes I feel are necessary. Well I still haven't ordered "Global", and with my luck when I get the money it will be unavailable, So please don't put it out of print for a while. My friends and I often wonder who would win in a fight... Sajid Khan or Bill Cowsill. I would put all my money on "Bilbo". At family parties do you guys ever refer to Bill as Bilbo? I know I would.... actually I would probably call him Rodger. Well I hope one day to hear from you about that movie...and maybe this Easter I will send you guys a nice big ham. A spiral ham would be nice...huh?
I also recently caught the VH 1 spot, and was glad to hear that all the "kids" survived OK, although not totally unscathed. I'm immediately going to order a CD and check out what seems to be a pretty cool website. Thanks for allowing the fans some access to the Band!!
I recently saw your VH1 clip on Where Are They Now? It really brought back memories. I was born in Newport, RI, when my Dad was stationed there while in the Navy. We were transferred to Cuba, but returned to Newport in 1965, shortly before you came on the music scene. Susan, did you attend John F. Kennedy Elementary School for third grade? My teachers were Miss Dwyer and Mrs. Davis. It's so weird to remember that and I can't remember what I made for dinner last night! If so I think we were in school together. My family lived at 238 Maffitt Street in the Navy housing. My brother, Bill, and sister, Susan went to Middletown Junior High School with your older brothers I believe. I always loved your harmonies, so distinct, and what a blend. I sing with a group here in TN. We do mostly weddings, conferences, and things like that. We are predominantly a Catholic group who sings at Sunday mass, but we like to experiment with other stuff just to see what we can do with it. It's fun and a great creative outlet for a stay-at-home mom. I can't wait to hear the CD. My kids enjoy listening to the oldies but goodies when music was music. It's nice to see you back again! Please let me know about the school if you can. That would be a hoot!
Just love the site. Have been a big fan for 30 years. I was 12 years old when I saw the Cowsills live at Huntington High School (I think) in 1972. The concert was stopped because they were too LOUD!? Found my way backstage and met John and Barry. Barry took a photo of John and I (he was my first crush). Such great memories and I'm so glad everyone is alive and well. Maybe we'll take a ride to Newport in September for the Taste of Newport. We are originally from Long Island, NY - temporarily living in Canada. All the best to everyone and I wish you much success!!! Love, Diane
I miss the innocence of your whole- some music (nothing lasts forever I know, too bad) as compared to today's rap music with sexually explicit lyrics that our poor kids have to listen to and be exposed to.
Hi! Used to be Sarah Huebner from Philadelphia ! I think you guys are still the best!
I'm so glad I finally checked out your websites. Just heard your Global Cd and I love it. It's great to be hearing the music of my favorite band in my teen years.
Hey Donny, You're famous. You're on our computer. Come see us sometime. Happy Birthday. The Holmes'
Great music! Where can I get sheet music for old Cowsill stuff? Although too young to remeber the Cowsills I love you music!!! I have lots of old teen magazines I came across.. anyone want some?
Do you guys still have those Yellow and Brown plad suits?
Hey guys... its me again.... I was just wondering Have Bob, Paul, and Bill changed their names to STEVIE, GLEN, and Roger, respectively, like I told them to.... If The cowsills wanna make it huge again they have gotta start Production on the, "Stevie and Glen find Dick " movie I told them to make.... Well I just wanted to say hey, and That If dick ever shows up again let him know I was askin about him later -Zac

Nice work on Global. Glad to see the exposure you got through VH1. I have always believed great harmonies can become timeless. As a family and a group you still have the gift. I know the music industry is a very political revenue driven machine. I am glad to see that the artistic side of the Cowsills is still important. It is obvious on Global. Good Work! Nice website too. Bye the way, when are coming to the Mobile-Pensacola area so Jimmy Buffet will have some competition?
God bless all of you. The Cowsills have been an inspiration to us for the past 30 years. The human spirit never ceases to amaze me; people's psyches are so vulnerable, yet so pliable. We wish you all the best in health, happiness, creativity and prosperity in the coming years. I (David) am a special education teacher for LAUSD. I teach severely handicapped teens. Having mild cerebral palsy myself, I understand what it is like not to have your body do exactly what you ask it to. Still, I play alto and tenor sax, and have a real ball doing it. Our two young daughters love The Cowsills, as well. We are anxiously awaiting arrival of your new c.d. as we just order it yesterday. Lots of love and peace from our family to yours. P.S.: John, it was great talking with you and hearing you perform several months back at my Alma Mater, Notre Dame High School!
I have long enjoyed listening to and collecting you records. I think the song WE CAN FLY contains some of the finest harmonies ever pressed on wax. One of my most valued items is a copy of your old milk commercial. Saw you guys on TV recently so I thought I would look you up on the net. Glad I did because now I can order GLOBAL (quite an ambitious title). Thanks for your time and I wish you all the best.
I'm new and just surfing. I really like th and hearing you perform several months back at my Alma Mater, Notre Dame High School!

When we were around 13,my best friend and I fell madly in Love with John and Barry ( same age as us, you see). We bought all the LPs, went to all the concerts in a two-state area. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at that time. It is nice to see them back together, looking forward to listening to Global. I bought a Best of Cowsills CD and my 14 year old son likes Rain, the Park & Other Things as well as "Hair". At least it is a place where we can "connect" with each other. Thanks for the memories.
STILL MISS ALAGATOR ROCK, ON INDIAN AVE, HOPE ALL YOU GUYS HAD A MERRY CHRISTMAS , YOU MISSED INGRIDS SWEDISH COOKIES THIS YEARS,HAPPY MILLINIUM.
I'm so happy to finally be able to get a copy of 'She Said To Me.' When I lived in LA several years ago, and Rodney Bingenheimer would play the song and lament how it really ought to be released, I couldn't have agreed more. It's one of the most thrilling pop songs ever...I get chills just thinking about it. Come to Santa Cruz, Cowsills! You too, Continental Drifters! We'd love to have you!
THANKS FOR GIVING WONDERFUL MEMORIES OF HAPPY&FUN MUSIC BACK TO ME. MY 14 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER AND I HAVE NOW SOMETHING ELSE TO SHARE. SHE DISCOVERED "INDIAN LAKE" ON OUR OLDIES CHANNEL HERE IN CHARLOTTE AND ASKED FOR THE CD FOR CHRISTMAS...WE HAVE NOW LISTENED TO IT FOR 2 DAYS...BUT THATS FINE WITH ME. GOOD MUSIC AND GOOD TASTE NEVER GOES OUT OF STYLE. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING

Your website is very interesting. I like the stories behind the songs on Global the things that happened while recording. I just got my Global cassette last week and it's the only thing I want to listen to. I really didn't know what to expect when I ordered it and when I first heard it in the car on my way to work, I couldn't believe my ears. It's fantastic! I love the harmonies! My husband and I have been listening to country music for the last four years because we didn't like what they were playing on the other stations. When I heard Global, it made me feel young again. I wish those other stations would play Global. They don't know what they're missing. Can't wait for Global 2 to come out! What happened to Christmastime?
I used to sing, when being a child, the rain the park and other things, as a grown up, I still enjoy your song very much, I'd like to know if there is any previous CD, that contains it, please let me know. Thank You very much.
Just a note to say that I've enjoyed your music and to say thank you. I still play your albums and remember what it was like when I was younger. And that AINT bad.
enjoyed the cowsills cd Global!!
I absolutely adored the Cowsills and bought their albums and the teen magazines that they were featured in as a girl growing up in Cleveland in the 1960's. This is just great to see old friends again!

I'VE ALWAYS LOVED YOUR MUSIC SINCE 1967.YOU GUYS ARE THE GREATEST MUSICIANS OUT OF NEWPORT,RHODE ISLAND(YOU SEE I REMEMBER WHERE ARE ALL BORN.)
Well, guys, 3 or 4 weeks ago I FINALLY got a CD player(thanks, Sue) and now I FINALLY have the home computer. So I remembered the Robin Records web site address, and here I am, just playing around waiting for my Gateway to blow up, drinking wine and wondering why we didn't have these toys back in the late 60's and early 70's. Hope to see Sue and the Drifters again soon...thinking of everyone always! I'll write some more once I figure all this 'Net stuff out! Whee...is this ever going to be a blast!! Love you all!
Invoking the mention of your groups name brings back memories of childhood. Glad you never took to the oldies circuit. Do the things you enjoy best.
Its nice to see the Cowsills are still around after all these years!
hi....will you come to Evansville, Indiana and do a concert?
Hey Cowsills -- good to have you back. Anxiously looking forward to receiving "Global" though, Paul, I really think you should have sent us an autographed one when it was released. Regards to "B".
Ever since I heard The Rain, The Park etc on Dumb and Dumber I have been searching for this song. I finally found it on an oldies song. I will be buying Global. But please, can anyone tell me if I can buy The Rain etc on ANY album. It is my number one song, I am surprised you didn't give the Mamas and Papas a run for their money. So sorry to hear about your folks. If that was your Mom singing on this song, she had a pretty voice! I hope I can buy this song!
It's great to see you back. Your music was the greatest when I was a teenager. Thanks for the memories. I am going to order Global. Keep up the great work.
Ever since I heard "Hair" on the radio, I've been a big fan of the Cowsills. This is a great website with lots of cool J-Peg images. The tour of the CD was the best, and you should do that more.
Hey Barry I played drums with you and AJ. at a chinese restaurant out in the subburbs of Boston(DO you remember that gig?)Paul
I love john stamos so much. The first time i saw him iliked him. I love Full House.FullHouse is my favorite show.

I ordered your cd 3 days ago and received it today! Thanks so much! I love it - it's so great to hear you all again. I especially love Susan's voice. Last time I heard her she was a little girl - what a great voice. I love all the songs and will take it to Maui with me when I go on vacation! I recently heard your old songs on a 60's tape in our restaurant when we were having a 60's birthday bash and I was reliving my love for you all - and I'm so glad I have this new cd. I'd love to see you all perform again - do you perform together often and is it just in L.A.? Good luck to you all and thanks for alot of wonderful new songs!
Nice site.
I loved your music and still do including your new material, but I feel I must say that I have this extraordinary obsession to hear the songs that I love. I am just an old guy that loves to hear stuff that brings me back to a time that I miss. I am just a lone voice, but I am still thunderstuck by some of your songs. Enough of that, what I am trying to say, is that I would not only buy your new album, but also, many of the "old" ones as well. But I don't see any way to do that on your website. Be that as it may, I'm so glad to see that you haven't given up and went the way of many of the bands that I used to enjoy. I would like to have a link to a site, or other way to purchase one of your albums from many years (that is not the way I was going to say that) ago. I have no idea as to how your contracts are written, but I would sure like to buy some of your older stuff as well as "Global".

A few years back, I was totally obsessed with the idea of releasing a new Cowsills album through my independent record label Heyday Records back in 1993/94. I had especially been blown away by Susan's charisma after catching her performances with the Continental Drifters. She had the magic, talent and a great story. I had been a DB's fan, and Hollsapple's credibility added to the appeal. Plus, as a 13 year old and was also a fan of the band's music in the sixties. The Rain, Park, & Other Things is still one of my favorites from my wonder years. I had a vivid vision of how to bring the band back by focusing on the single potential of Is It Any Wonder, and promoting primarily to adult alternative radio with a baby boomer audience. I caught the band live at their annual Christmas show in Woodland Hills and really enjoyed it. A series of meeting's with Robbie (who was acting as the band's business manager), took place. Eventually, I had to reluctantly decline, given the fair but high cost to license the distribution rights. Anyway, I played that demo tape to every music industry person I knew, eventually loosing my copy. Is It Any Wonder had become one of my favorite songs of all times. I missed listening to Far Away with Susan's awesome vocals. I kept an eye out for the album to be released, and for the band to tour here in San Francisco, but over the years, eventually gave up. Then, for some reason, this evening I decided to do a web search and wouldn't you know it, finally was able to buy the album through this site. I look forward to it's arrival. Good luck to the band and when does Susan record a solo album?
Met John 7/7/70 outside the Brentwood home. He was on his bike, I was with my dad and girlfriend. Went into his house, what a sweetie. Gave me a book and IIxII LP. Signed everything. My 14 yr old daughter listens to the same LP's I listened to years ago. Loved you then, always will. Hope the new music is as successful and beyond. I still cherish all my old LP's. Even the one at the Lincoln Park Zoo...
I have loved the Cowsills since the '60's. I especially loved Barry His birthday is the day before mine, and we were the same age, which made him even more special to me. Wonder where my Cowsill scrapbook is? HAPPY BIRTHDAY the 14th, Barry. Good luck to the family. Glad to find the website.
Glad to see this site is still up!
The first memory I have of the Cowsills was a TV Special about them that was hosted by Buddy Ebsen. I remember very little about the program and wondered if a copy of it still exists. I have not seen the VH1 special, either. Will it air again? I was an overly obsessed Cowsills fan of the late sixties/early seventies. Saw the Cowsills on October 4, 1969 in Richmond, VA. My Mom was able to get me into a taping of a local dance program. I watched the Cowsills "lip sinc" Silver Threads and Golden Needles for the show. I got my picture taken with them and got to talk to them for a while. It's amazing how something like that can affect a 12 year old girl.
I'm a friend of Johns from about twenty years ago. If you can get a message to him, let him know we just moved to Santa Barbara. Phone # is (805) 564-3982 (valid on or around the first of Sept. Many Thanks. Steve (and Cindy).
Greatest band web sight I've seen ever!!! Of course I bought Global and think it's the best album of 98 - 99. I am a 48 yr old New Yorker who has been residing in Cal. now for 22 yrs.I belong to the Class of "69" and have always thought the Cowsills were the "Only" lagidimit family band besides the Wilson Bro. alias The Beach Boys. I am a Jazz vibist who plays in the bay area along with my 14 yr old son on stand up bass I am proud to say. My musical taste and upbringing in the 60's ranges from of course the Beatles to Frank Zappa and the Mothers. But I always knew the "Sills" had great vocals and actually played instruments too which impressed me as a musician that they did so well at their early age. Global blew my mind that they still proved they had the best Pop vocals next to Brian Wilson. Also to hang in there for 30 years and never let go of their music, believe me I know how tough that can be. Anyway PLEASE put a tour togather as you can see from your Web site ticket sales would be no problem and keep working on Global II we all can hardly wait for that one too. Here's hoping the group will make it to the Bay Area or I to Pickwick's in L.A. soon to catch at least Bob. And yes I'm another old timer with a crush on Sue,I'd settle for a drifters show or the psyco sisters....... Keep the web current on all those live shows. Thanks form all the fans......... DPjazz
Well guys, u are my fave group, Im only15 but there are a whole lotta cowsill pin ups in my room. I have decided that Bob should change his name to STEVIE, and Paul should change his name to GLEN, and if u see Bill make him change his name to Roger, He looks like a Roger. The rest of u are fine. How's Dick Coswsill? anyone seen him..... well guys, I dont know what else to say, but I love yezz, and u should make a movie called " Stevie and Glen, find Dick..." and at the end Bill, i mena ROGER, should go fishing with David Cassidy. Symbolic. -Zac
Great site! I loved your family's music years ago and I am betting $18.00 that I will like "Global." Thanks!
John you're a babe
Congratulations on such a great Web Site! We are distant cousins (Dave is the son of William Cowsill of Wichita, KS.) We would love to hear from you. Often when people hear our name, they ask us if we know of "The Cowsills". Dave listened to your albums as a child and remembers the time he met you backstage at a concert in Pittsberg, KS many years ago. Best wishes!
I saw the Cowsills in 1968 in Texas. They were great. I will always love there music. Peace and Love always.
Heard an old Cowsills song on the radio. Sounded good. Wondered whatever became of you all. You look great and I wish well. Good luck.
first time on the site, having fun
I was in Santa Monica CA last week and saw the group on a weekend morning show, you were great!!!! I searched everywhere for your new CD, only to realize it is only available via the internet! So here I am ! I truly hope you tour again and visit "sweet home Chicago". The time is right again for your music!!!
The "COWSILLS" rule! I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the great music you have given us both past and present. The quality of your music has never ever been surpassed! Peace and Prosperity to you forever!!!!

Great website - look forward to hearing the CD! Hi to John from your summer camp mate (1969, Camp Akela, Malibu?). Best wishes.
I have all of the original Cowsills records on MGM and I love them. Thank you. Doug Mack
Caught the VH-1 special on The Cowsills:Where Are They Now and wanted to check out the website. Glad to see those guys back at it. Had a bunch of their singles as a kid. Always enjoyed them and still do when I hear them on the radio. New album sounds great!
I have enjoyed the Cowsill's music for a long time. I am so glad that they are back. I was watching VH1 or MTV and saw the interview. I was sorry to hear of the death of your mother and then of your father. I hope you make a turn around in your career and everything works out for your families. Good luck and God Bless You.
Just Lookin.
I like the web Pages!! But on the cowsills webpage I would like to see Full songs on the audio page!! The page is great!! I know Bob Cowsill very well!! His son is on the Van Nuys Notre Dame American Legion team which is 19-2!!!
From 1963-1965 we lived at 35 Champlain, Newport R.I. and used to play at your house---you had one of the best sledding hills. My Dad was attend attending the Naval War College and my brothers and sisters went to St. Augustine. Sure caught a lot of perch in Easton's pond. Heard you play a song on a Palm Springs radio station last month. Best of luck to you all.
Happy to see your webpage....Where's Barry?
This is for John--and Susan-- Steve and Cindy say hi--heard you on the Mark & Brian show the other morning. We're moving to Santa Barbara soon. We're grandparents! See ya soon--really.
Just finished listening to the samples of songs on the website. As always a Cowsill Fan since 1966. I love their new music as well as the old. Keep up the great work. Enjoy your website.
Last night I got a most pleasant surprise when I attended the All Star Baseball game in Lake Elsinore, CA. The Cowsills, reknown for their harmonies, melodies, beat, timing and flawless delivery, sang our national anthem. Hold on a second, that wasn't all! After the very exciting game was over, the Cowsills treated us to a concert that stripped away the years and reassured us music that speaks to our goodness is in the world for us. They sound as fabulous as ever!
